Emperor Go-Daigo of Japan

Emperor Go-Daigo (後醍醐天皇) was the 96th imperial ruler of Japan. He overthrew the Kamakura shogunate and achieved the short-lived Kemmu restoration.

He was named after Emperor Daigo. Go means "latter" in Japanese.
