Tu Fu

Dù Fǔ or Tu Fu (杜甫) (712 - 770), Dù Shàolíng (杜少陵) or Dù Gōngbù (杜工部) was a Chinese poet, his zi is 子美 (pinyin: Zǐ Meǐ).

He was born in Gongxian, Henan, China. He was considered the greatest realistic poet of the Tang dynasty.
