University of Missouri

The University of Missouri-System is one of two public state university systems. There are several campus in the system, including:

• University of Missouri, Columbia - the main campus
• University of Missouri, Kansas City
• University of Missouri, Rolla - engineering and computer science
• University of Missouri, St. Louis

History

The University of Missouri system was established in 1963 with the Columbia campus. A private university in Kansas City, the School of Mines in Rolla and a new campus in St. Louis were added to make the four campuses today.
